Relais du visiteur
Created in 2018, the Relais du visiteur aims to promote, network and develop the various tourist axes on the territory of the Pays des 4 Bras. A true “green lung” located between Brussels and Charleroi, it is made up of the municipalities of Villers-la-Ville, Genappe (Brabant-Wallon) and Les Bons-Villers (Hainaut).
A welcoming land for nature lovers and history enthusiasts, the Pays des Quatre Bras offers a multitude of activities in the heart of nature and its forests. Walkers, horse riders, cyclists, golfers, gliders, fishermen or simply green tourism lovers will find their happiness here!
The area is full of stories! Immerse yourself in the heart of the Middle Ages and in the daily life of the Cistercian monks at the famous Abbey of Villers-la-Ville, visit the dungeon of Mellet or come and celebrate the Louis XI Days in Genappe. The Pays des 4 Bras is also the site of Napoleon’s last battle before Waterloo. It is full of monuments and historic buildings that allow you to relive these decisive events of the early 19th century. For the most curious, Napoleon’s last HQ, the only Napoleonic museum in Belgium, will welcome you and take you back to 1815.
Would you like to stay or treat yourself on our territory? Numerous gites, guest rooms and restaurants will welcome you, so that you can enjoy a unique stay in the heart of our region. Don’t hesitate to push the door of the Relais du Visiteur to discover our local products shop as well as a multitude of information at your disposal!
