]]> The Saint-Hubert church, in the center of the village of Baisy-Thy, is the starting point of this country walk. The church houses a white marble monument in memory of the valiant Godfroid de Bouillon who, according to some sources, was born in the region. The walk takes you through the fields and makes you discover, among other things, the recently transformed Bois-Saint-Jean Farm, which houses an important lapidary collection, including the Ways pillory. At the end of the walk, take shelter, like the emperor, in front of the Sainte-Anne chapel. A popular legend says that in 1815 Napoleon sheltered there from the rain to watch his troops march towards Waterloo.

Do not hesitate to cross its portal to admire the impressive baroque marble tomb of the former castelains of Bousval. This picturesque walk will make you discover one of the five miraculous springs of Genappe, the Chapel of Try-au-Chêne, the Farm of La Baillerie with its goats and the Castle of Bousval. Before leaving you will find at 20 meters the artisanal Farm of Bousval, famous for its excellent Strawberry Ice Cream!

]]> This long and beautiful 12.4 km walk starts at the Sart-Dames-Avelines Sports Centre and leads through a wide variety of areas: woods, little-used paths, fields… This walk offers also a magnificent viewpoint at the « Arbre de la Bruyère », the highest point in the commune of Marbais and a former landmark of the resistance for parachute drops. You will aslo discover numerous farms such as: the « Bois de Bordeau » farm dating from the middle of the 14th century and acquired by Afflighem Abbey at the dawn of the 16th century, and the « La Bruyère » farm dating from the 13th century and fitted with an remarkable entrance porch.
